Unemployed! Now What?
So many are unemployed who would like to find productive work. If you are "between jobs" at the moment, take
comfort in the knowledge that there are millions just like you.
While you look for that elusive job in a tight market, why not take the time to reevaluate your goals? What is
it that you most want to do with your life? Where would you like to establish your headquarters when you start
working on that life goal?
Start Your Own Business
Many people prefer to be their own boss. You won't get laid off if you own the business!
Of course, that is easier said than done (please forgive the cliche'). Don't fall for the get rich schemes that
so many offer. Starting a business requires three things, and the first of those is time.
Business Ingredient One: Time
You can create a business in a few hours, as some claim. Any business that is going to be successful in the long
term requires a long time to fully develop. Of course, that doesn't mean that it takes a long time to
begin reaping some rewards.
Okay, I told you that it takes three things to start a business, but I only told you one of those so far didn't
I?
Business Ingredient Two: Idea
The second ingredient necessary starting a business is an idea (or two or three or more). If you look deep
enough within yourself, an idea will surface.
In the business world, we call that idea a business niche. Nearly everyone has a particular talent or can
develop an area of expertise that is in demand. In other words, there is something that you can do or that you know
well that other people are willing to pay for.
Let me just provide some examples.
Do you know how to bake a delicious cake and decorate it? There's a niche.
Are you a mechanic who can work from home or even at other people's homes? There's another niche.
Do you make jewelry or crafts? There are two more niches.
Are you in a band, but you can get a gig? You already have a niche, but you need to do some promotion.
Business Ingredient Three: Marketing Knowledge
Here's where we come into the picture. (Come on, you knew we were going to claim to be able to solve your
problem.) We, at 99Sites.US, have lots of information, and it's at the right price (free).
If you would like us to help you identify a business niche, just tell us a bit about yourselves on our form and we'll try to brainstorm some suggestions for you to
investigate. Don't worry, you don't have to provide any confidential information, and we won't spam
you!
We specialize in online businesses and Internet marketing and promotion of offline businesses. If you
decide to begin an online business, I suggest reading our pages under the "Start Online Business" heading. You should also consider signing up for
our free course about starting an online business. If
you sign up for that, you also receive a valuable resources guide that can help you find tools
that will speed your business development. Many of those tools are free to use, so that can greatly reduce
your overhead.
If you are interested in only using the Internet as a marketing tool for your local or worldwide business, you
should probably begin at the section of our website called "Move Business Online," which is specifically for brick and mortar businesses looking
to attract more clients or customers. Interestingly, you too may profit from our free course and resource
guide referenced above.
All of you should benefit from our section titled, "Online Business Development."
We are quite honestly interested in helping you through this difficult time. We hope you will take
advantage of all of the information that we offer you.
